Most systems have a pump that makes a noise nobody has tracked down yet. Here's what the common ones usually mean: 1. A bang when it shuts off is usually the check valve slamming. 2. A sound like gravel going through it is cavitation, and it's eating the impeller. 3. A growl that gets a little louder every month is often a bearing on its way out. The pump was never the long pole. A pump package is a pump, a motor, a base, a panel and usually a drive. Different suppliers, different clocks, and your schedule assumed one clock. Nothing gets released to manufacture until submittals are approved. Review time is not beside your lead time, it is in front of it. Ask which items are longest. Ask if you can release them in parts.
